Cordell Cade Durall, affectionately known as Cade, was born July 22, 1956, in Cade, Louisiana, to the late Joseph Henry Durall and Lucy Ann Boutte Durall. He departed this earthly life at 0730am on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at New Iberia Manor North, after battling a brief illness. Cade worked for years as a derrickman in the offshore oil industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends: including a good card or dice game and a game of pool.
He leaves to cherish his life and memory - one daughter, Ebonie Dauphiney of Carencro, LA; two brothers, Gerald Durall, Sr. and Glenn Durall, both of New Iberia, LA; four aunts, Mary Ann Williams (Curtis), Daisy August, Pauline August, and Barbara Green (Leon), all of New Iberia, LA; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Durall Fontenette; and his son, Cordell Cade Durall, Jr.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:1 and 4
